About the club
Founded in 2003, the Manchester Phoenix are the current English Premier League (EPL) Ice Hockey Champions. With squads ranging from the junior Under 10s level right up to the senior EPL ice hockey squad, all playing out of the 2,200-seater Altrincham Ice Dome, the Manchester Phoenix are a true family-orientated organisation.
Manchester Phoenix home games are predominantly on a Sunday evening, commencing at 5.30pm and finishing around 8.00pm. A night at the ice hockey is an entertainment-packed affair with lots of interactive fun for all the family added to the speed, skills, thrills and spills of the fastest team sport in the world. With crowds averaging over 1,000 and growing the Phoenix is a sporting spectacle on the rise. And all this in an atmosphere second to none!
Plus Britain's most celebrated ice hockey star – Tony Hand MBE – has returned for his sixth season as Phoenix's Head Coach as the club fights for silverware on three fronts.
